Kale Chips

My first go at kale chips.  Man, I think these might become a staple in this house!  The crispiness of a potato chip, the flavor of, well, whatever you want, and it's HEALTHY.  Gasp.  Just lost some of you, didn't I?

For those still with me, these are extremely simple to make and impossible to put down.  This is what I did:

1.  Strip the leaves off a bunch of kale - the simplest way is to run a knife down the big rib and then break the leaves into bite sized pieces.

2.  Mix about 1 Tbsp. olive oil and 1 Tbsp. sesame seed oil and pour over kale in a big bowl - mix.

3.  Sprinkle sea salt and whatever kind of seasoning you would like over the leaves.  My favorites so far are the plain salt and salt with garlic powder.

4.  Bake at 275*F for 20 minutes.  And that's it!  Give it a try, your body and taste buds will thank you.  I promise.

5.  Eat right away.  they don't seem to taste as good the next day.....
